There's nothing wrong with riposte. works fine. except maybe that you (at least 2ish months ago) riposte while ducking.
parry is a separate skill. example of a battle log: Rogean owns YOU for 32000 points of damage! Rogean owns YOU for 32000 points of damage! Rogean tries to own YOU, but you parry! Rogean owns YOU for 32000 points of damage! Rogean owns YOU for 32000 points of damage! Rogean tries to own YOU, but you riposte! You try to hit Rogean, but miss! Rogean owns YOU for 32000 points of damage! You have been slain by Rogean! LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...s

I totally got riposted by a mob the other day. The mob was running too, which is a little fucked up, but whatevz. Anyways, I took damage, so it works for mobs at least?
