Spells: Enchanter Rune line

I remember dying quite a bit on live to dots, and that was with rune up, I can't vouch for it in the very earliest of live (I was still learning my class, bad memory etc.) but i don't ever remember it being like that. Could be i'm wrong...

Fall damage, don't think rune protected against that. Lava damage, don't think it protected against that either... drowning [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] didn't protect against drowning damage. I don't think it protected against dots. Anyone else's thoughts?
