My fiancee used to bash these games all of the time. She started to notice how much fun I had while playing though, and when I was playing SoD one night, she said she wanted to play.

I had her create a character and we started out together and I noticed that she was just playing for the fun of it. She loved running around and stuff. She started to like the game, and then she even started playing WoW with me, but I messed up once I started playing my main characters and not playing with her. Seems that she only liked playing because she was spending time with me and I just wanted to raid and stuff.

So, if you do get your wife/girlfriend to play, don't mess up like I did! Play with her and make it fun for her because most girls aren't playing for the same reasons that we are.

My wife just kinda got involved in the game along side me back in 01 or 02. We also tried WoW, EQ2, darkfall, AoC, eve and a few others off and on over the years. SHE would be the one staying up till 4am to level an alt, my ass was busy working.

Tobe fair we also played table top D&D for a long time before i even get her involved in MMO's so that helped to ease her into it im sure. 10 years, and she's still with me on P1999. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
