Crashed while camping now getting Error 1018

hrm. I had 1018 bug for quite awhile recently and it totally screwed me over.

Does rebooting actually work for that? Seems kinda strange that it would. Why would the client have anything to do with what the server thinks is logged in?

I've been playing P99 for about 6 months now. In that time, I've had several client crashes and 1018s, but only twice did it last longer than 2-3 minutes, but one of those was several hours (I went and ran errands).

Rebooting computer cleared the issue. I suspect the client somehow held the connection open even though it said it crashed and wasn't visible. I didn't check task manager to see if eqgame.exe was still running.
