Harry Reid made a very revealing establishment statement on this when asked about the delegate system. The system is designed to cater to moderates and progressive minorities, not people like Ted Cruz. Even if Cruz soars, its in the establishments best interest to nominate Rubio or Trump. I don't have a problem with Cruz personally as a former Catholic, but I'm not blind to how much of a deal breaker it is in 2016. You need to get out and talk to some people outside of your red state if you think Cruz is electable. His religious beliefs are extremely polarizing and will only create more division and hate among the parties, the establishment knows he is not right for America in 2016. Guys like Rubio, Kasich, and Trump especially are more up Americas alley.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016...ail-trump.html Rubio is now getting the GOP establishment push in an attempt to kill off Trump. Trump could be considered an Establishment candidate (capital E) in many ways, but he is not GOP establishment. I would define Trump as Establishment, as he is pro-Imperial, pro-Pentagon. So if Rubio can't kill him off with the GOP help, its no big deal to the Establishment overall. The GOP boys club will be butthurt, but they will get over it as they are loyal to the Establishment first and foremost. Sanders is Establishment enemy #1. If you are looking for true anti-establishment candidate, he's the only one on the field. We haven't seen an Establishment enemy since JFK. This is a fascinating election cycle.

If you don't have that, you don't have jack ...other than you may parade around chanting "I voted for a winner" with the herd that wants to say the same. This prospective is open for easy manipulation; when voting for a projected prospective winner over that of your conscience. This would project from a state of defeatism, and has seemed to be the message that such candidates prevail over their campaigns, then thus fall in defeat. And no, I wouldn't have voted for JFK either. He was a meth addict that almost got us into a major world war. What did Nixon do that Obama didn't? It's just no one will bust Obama after doing the same thing, or they are labeled a racist. Oh taking your answer as "undecided" at least until the last vote. [You must be logged in to view images. Oh in that one? I liked Duncan Hunter, actually. I do appreciate Ron's work. I think his son should try again in the future, if there is one [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
