Take the ranger for instance. Classic the class is fine, it can even main tank in a pinch for xp , not as effective as a tank but still it can.

Kunark come out and noone wants aranger in the group becuase the just get demolished and have no way to control there agro secept basicly sitting outthe fight for a good 3 months until jolt arives.


sov give the rangers better bows and they are once again wanted in raids(namely one) for there bow damage.


you can see this with any class in game save a cleric.... For them in classic they are wanted but not required for xp.After kunark, you wont think of going anywhere w/o one .
