i dont see why GMs couldnt try variance on a COUPLE mobs just to see what happens. breathe some new life into the scene just by the fact that it's something different (besides being a good idea already). i'd like to see variance just put in on like 5 mobs. ket's see what happens? maybe we'll see all you non-variance type ppl are right. or maybe the opposite. either way, putting 5 mobs on variance will be GOOD for the server.
