How is a quote about me stating that I enjoy pvping relevant to this conversation? There is a huge difference between maintaining civility when you pvp against people, and being a good sport about it afterwards, than your blissfully ignorant behavior shown in this thread about wanting to grief people off of the box.

I joined and stayed red because of the community and because it's not blue. Becoming emotionally invested in 15 year elf sim is like the best part and I imagine what some might call the red99 right of passage into the halls of honor and glory. Bush+towers, nihi is the problem, viva la resistance!

I started on the RED server a month or so ago.. here are some of my thoughts/experiences

started a wizard in qeynos to do BB fangs quests.

was alone pretty much the whole time.. easy farming lvl 19 in 2 nights.

guy name tune gave me a couple really nice caster items

guy named nizzar came and wiped all of BB for me so i could loot all the fangs

some gnome at qeynos bank gave me some spare stuff for my wizard

selena gave me smoldering brand when i started new char (bard) that would level up faster

at lvl 4(in qeynos) someone random dude killed me while i was fighting a gnoll then left me alone

at lvl 19(gfay) druid tried to kill me.. ran out of mana and left

at lvl 19 twink named selah griefed me a bit.. but then left zone cuz a nice druid buffed me.

overall:

warm reception to the server, people were generally very nice and helpful

not much pvp

still interested in red but whenever i log on it ends up being to blue.. hard to find ports/groups. Lonely.. oh so lonely..

edit: some people also gave me random ruby's/gems that i could get some pp for..

addressing the behavior of individual players was something that was also discussed. Leaders and Staff will be acting together to ensure a much better forum environment, as the current state is clearly unacceptable.

Nah....in wow I can buy my way into end game content. On r99 i am forced to enjoy the journey!
