At least that engages you - there's interaction. It's not spectating.

With how seriously people take their spectating these days, I think we should make spectating a sport itself. Then we can have people spectating the spectators.

Going to the games are fun! The noise, the food, the cheerleaders! The game is like 10% of it!

You can get all of those things with better quality elsewhere. The food sucks. The cheerleaders are off limits and far away. Noise is dumb and it's free.

Not true. Again we are talking about spectating vs interacting. I'd say hanging out with your buddies playing cards is more akin to raiding. Hanging out with pals watching sports on TV is akin to hanging out with pals and watching paint dry. It can still be fun (because of how you interact with your pals), but the activity itself is not engaging. I guess me and my buddies watch games different than other people. We do more interacting with each other and the TV is just background noise/conversation starter.

I get pretty hype at football games, but I don't have a real team I cheer for I just enjoy the sport.
