Game Mechanics: Giant and dragon stuns

WoW NPCs dazed, yeah.

For sure I think 55+ WARRIOR npcs that kick (not monk flying kick or ranger npcs!) should stun. That may already be the same, I'm not exactly tanking them here with my wizard. This much to me is absolute from the logs.

However, I don't think the person in the PoHate log had their back to both mobs on them, nor do I think that whoever got killed by the Vindi/temple guardian had their back to them.

I believe these mobs stunned (frontal too) because they were red con, and additionally that giants/dragons should too from the Nilbog quote posted. The guy posting that didn't go back in time to make that post and doesn't appear to be someone who is clueless.

Most NPCs bashing can only stun them from behind.

^ OK, sounds about right for ogres. Notice the word "most".

Exceptions are giant class MOBs

Furor's post complaining about dropping threat on his human vs being an ogre against Velious raid npcs (notice he wasn't complaining about this as much in classic...? Btw their plane of sky clears, not exactly trivial before the oh Velious raids were harder issue comes up) isn't just a result of a bash here and there stunning him.
