Any good adult activity involves alcohol. Maybe you just go to shitty places, and the people you most likely associate with are going to be fat and pathetic whether they are drinking or not.

Every nice dinner, party, function, or gathering of any sort involves alcohol.

the difference is those functions aren't centered on the alcohol.. the alcohol is a support mechanism..

where as going to a bar, or drinking alone (usually) alcohol is the primary activity.
