using wineq2 and cannot login

rebooted and opened wineq2 as admin and it worked.

Confirmed for me! Running as Administrator works! can't believe I didn't think of that. ITS ALWAYS THE ANSWER.

Also I didn't have to reboot. Just run as administrator.
