Short sword of Morin quest should be easily soloable in your teens if you can land a snare on the Ghoul and bow kite it down.

The Ghoul Messenger is level 27 so I'd think landing a snare on him for a teens-level character is a mighty big if. And with 1000 HP, it's probably going to take more than one snare to fill him with enough arrows to make him give up the map. I'd consider bringing a few friends to this party.
As far as stuff to camp, if you can kill the taskmaster in Crushbone, he often drops a brass earring that can be turned into various slaves. The slaves will give you a note to their loved ones which, when delivered to said loved one, usually yield decent stuff. Of particular interest would be the high elf male slave, whose ultimate reward is a +2 STR ring. Other rewards include leather armor and a bronze 2-handed axe that sells for several plat.
If you are in Qeynos Catacombs, kill Cubert for the dress which can be turned in for a chance at a +3 INT earring. It probably won't be of much use to you but it might make nice barter material, and it's a really easy quest to do (just practice your swimming a bit beforehand because there is a longish stretch of underwater swimming).
While you are crossing the Karanas, kill any rabid animals you find (wolves for sure, grizzlies if you can take them down) and loot their diseased pelts. Those turn in for a few plat and some decent exp in Qeynos. Also if you can find any of the lone bandits, they have a chance to drop a red sash that is turned in for exp and a bronze weapon. I've spent the last few days mostly in W Karana running around killing rabid critters and the odd bandit and have gone from level 17 to nearly level 22 (ranger) and added several hundred plat to my coffers.
The orc runner quest is a good one to do in Butcherblock. It's on a 22 min timer so that is plenty of time to kill the runner, turn in his drops, and return again for the next pop. One of the rewards is a longbow which sells for several plat, plus I think it is good exp until level 12 or so. If you can get a SoW, you can add the mail delivery quests from the BB docks and Kaladim (and probably Felwithe too) for a little extra cash/exp.
