Too many ways to miss an LNS call and get a violation. I think some sort of malicious intent should be proven i.e. bind camping, ignoring multiple /t /ooc /shout /say notifications.

Killing nakeds is usually just padding KDR unless it's a zone control battle or a fight for a merb, anyway.

I personally miss the days of player - enforce LNS. I will sit at your corpse until you LNS out of the zone, once you loot your shit if you're not headed for the zl I'm hitting you until you start moving. Live was p goog about this in Kunark era iirc.

i agree, repeat offenders, like the creator of this thread, should be subject to even harsher punishment for a clear disregard of the rules and the spirit of the rules

I gave you a serious response already. I don't think changing LnS would be a bad thing, along with exp pvp death, but I don't think it is even a possibility making any rules more harsh then they are today. If you take a step towards a blue server I don't think it is possible to ever go back the other way.

I can't think of any game I ever played where rules were changed to make it harsher. If changes are ever made it is to make things easier for people. Maybe I'm wrong with that but none come to mind.

LnS is sadly necessary because you nerds can't play nice with each other. It says enough that most of the people arguing against LnS in here are people who try to lawyer the rule to get other people's accounts suspended. Almost like an extremely autistic form of PVP.

i'll argue against it because it isn't a soft-coded tag like AFK and there's selective-at-best enforcement. LnS is a good rule in theory but only when it gets enforced consistently. otherwise you just see it getting ignored half the time, and then used as whine material by server babies like Vapo the other half.

Xepiz dies, you kill him over and over with him not calling LNS, then he finally has enough and calls LNS and you kill him? You claim you didnt see the LNS because of zoning?

I once was speeding and i didnt see the change in speed on the speed limit sign and i got pulled over and got a ticket. I explained that I didnt see it. Officer understood. I still got ticket.

7 days is not a long suspension. if you got more than 7 days then you would be a repeat offender and kind of a moot point.

I honestly dont attack naked people unless attaked first. Naked people pose no harm really and if they attack first i have logs
