Further evidenced by the fact that Empire lobbied for a change to the flawed carebear LnS before Velious even came out. I remember distinctly when I personally reached out to Gardur and several other not rustled, sane, somewhat well respected leaders of the community.

Single incident suspensions are dumb. Without a coded in LNS system (which will never happen) then reliance on the chat system is required.

Who reads chat while in combat?

Too many ways to miss an LNS call and get a violation. I think some sort of malicious intent should be proven i.e. bind camping, ignoring multiple /t /ooc /shout /say notifications.

Killing nakeds is usually just padding KDR unless it's a zone control battle or a fight for a merb, anyway.

I personally miss the days of player - enforce LNS. I will sit at your corpse until you LNS out of the zone, once you loot your shit if you're not headed for the zl I'm hitting you until you start moving. Live was p goog about this in Kunark era iirc.
