UDB will be sticky situation...you don't lose the turn-in bit when you spawn the summoned trak so as long as you don't finish the epic you can farm the udb trak.

udb trak still drops 1 bp item...and some of them (cleric) are still very valuable. unsure if udb trak can drop a manna robe.

I'm pretty sure its the march 2001 timeline.

The January 2001 era update was a bit delayed here but, counting from the August 2 release, they seem to have gotten back on track. This Friday's patch out us on the February 2001 era. If they keep this up we should see VSR and such (Tunare warden???!) Next month.

That's interesting about Ragefire though, I didn't know he was everyday.

UDB triggerings sounds like an awful lot of trouble to go through just to farm trak BPs. But maybe if top guilds are bored and don't have anything else to do they'll have a bard do his epic up to that point to have it on the shelf.

Hopefully the scummy people don't farm VSR just to sell. Some people out there would actually just like their item.

No one's gonna waste two dragon scales to farm Undead Bard for BPs.

Personally, I'd love to see them remove epics from the list of MQ'able quests. Would help eliminate this issue and let people who are interested in completing the quest for their epic without having to just buy pieces.

if you are buying the scales, holding on the turn in for a few udb bps can help you pay the cost of the epic.

i agree that it would be unusual at first, but this is a static server. things are unusual here compared to live.

This.

Since Epics can no longer be used at level 1, I imagine the number of people really interested in MQing their epics rather than completing it themselves is relatively low.

Maybe this could be some of that custom content...

if they removed MQing and droppable epic bits then only the top poop socking guilds would have access to most epics. if thats the goal then i see your reasoning.
