Epic revamps: How will it turn out?
 

When they bring us VSR and the other epic revamps, will VSR be camped? Instantly taken when he spawns? Will there be a waiting list? Just inquiring whether anyone knows or has a guess.

VSR will roughly double the number of stones out there, should bring the price down a bit.

I think the Fay trigger is every 12 hours?

Both changes should lead to more people getting their epics for less money = good.

Farmers will likely sock them for the first few weeks/months, but once folks have 5-6 stones and pods that they can't move they'll likely move on.

We'll see though.

that's pretty crappy for folks who've been around for a long time after their VS stone haha... scummy people will be scummy people I suppose

VSR requires a globe of fireflies. NO DROP (obtained by a druid/ranger only spell, dance of the fireflies).

So its not possible for just anyone to farm, other than druids who already have epic.

Now that I think about it though, the item Split Paw has this as a right click effect, so other classes could farm those at paw.

So vsr will pop roughly 3-4 times a week? 10-12 hours after VS death and then roughly every 24 hours till VS respawns? So potentially going from 2-4 stones per week to 10+ stones per week?

Think he'll really be farmed? Or that stones will even be that expensive?

Isn't Ragefire on a similar timer? People still farm cleric epic MQs all the time, I doubt druids will be any different.

Unless I'm mistaken ragefire is only once per naggy? And naggy doesn't drop the cleric piece. So we only get one cleric epic per naggy. (Never done this myself, correct me!)

As I understand it, VSR respawns several times after each VS, each dropping 2 stones. And fay trigger is roughly every 12 hours, so there will be tons of druid and ranger epics floating around very soon.

Ragefire spawns usually 1 tiem per day unless Naggy is up.

So about 6 spawns after Naggy dies.
