Do the red BoTB results reflect on actual skill?

Pretty sure 3v3 arena in WoW required quite a bit of skill to get good at.

Getting that 2700 achieve felt goog.

I played 3s and 2s as a mage with RMP or RM. This is EQ who gives a shit. If he wants a game built around casual even matches go back to WoW and stop shitting up this server. Typical 3rd worlder comes here and wants to change our way of life :P

Multi Classed Rogue/Mage/Lock/Ret 2400+ in 3v3 last season and two different hunters to 2750+

Too immersed in EQ atm to touch any drakes. My hunter is still only lvl 98 ;p

Cleric BoTB ... I destroyed this BoTB simply because as a bard/enchanter played I had better pet management skills, than the other players who probably had never dealt with a pet in the past. In the end I won because I got good procs, and because I backed Nizzar's pet out of CH range and he didnt have a hot key to back it up.

Ought to run botb the same way they did on real eq, we got some custom rules here that didn't exist for their botbs. Just sayin.

BOTBs/duels are a better representation of "player skill" than world pvp. Positioning close enough to a zoneline to plug or batphone in cavalry isn't representative of much of anything.

Also did you cast any nukes with your Cleric in the BOTB? Be honest.

We had a no clickies rule on the VZTZ BOTBs. I can't believe they allowed them here. They should run another BOTB in 2015 when some of the players who don't have 80 hours a week to invest in emulated Everquest have caught up to the level cap.

Red Cleric BotB was FUBAR. Combatants received dragon teeth to spawn a skeleton pet, which then opened the door to combatants using Dawnfires and Undead Nukes.

We had a no clickies rule on the VZTZ BOTBs. I can't believe they allowed them here.

Clickies were generally not allowed in the P99 BotBs unless specifically allowed in the rules that we could locate for the original BotBs back in 2000-2001.

i.e. druids could use drones of doom bracers

P99 staff made additional non-classic changes such as disallowing Blackstone Maul. Monk epic/robe clicks were allowed on the grounds that the original BotB video recap showed monks running around with the casting animation.
