Do the red BoTB results reflect on actual skill?

Not a flame thread, but rather I'd like to open up the conversation of the BoTB's on this server.

Druid BoTB ....

It in no way shape or form resembled actual world PVP and I am sure it was won by a port bot with the right clickies and spell sequence.

Warrior BoTB ....

Can you even remember who won it ? I think whoever it was had his rune sword proc like 5 times in a row and had a shitty line up that launched him to the front.

Monk BoTB ....

I think the only decent match was the one between Colgate and Gongshow where Gongshow lost by 1% because Colgate was an Iksar which gave him Fungi like regen and a ton of AC. Had Gongshow himself been an Iksar based on the match's duration it is calculated he would have had about 15% more HP than Colgate at least.

Also the event operated off of fist PVP, instead of 2 hand blunt which is what every monk fight ever consists of. I think Colgate was the only person that actually practiced hand to hand for a few weeks prior to the event, not sure anyone else took it serious.

(Nothxu beat Nizzar) lol ...

Gongshow thought this BoTB was such a joke, he flat out deleted his human monk and rerolled Iksar.

Rogue BoTB ....

Boulderquest/Poison RNG luck...nothing to do with actual backstab management placement. possibly one of the worst.

Bard BoTB ....Because of VP gear, Tune the winner of the BoTB was working with about twice the poison resist I did. Him and I laughed about how he resisted every one of my 12 Denon's, and he landed every single one of his.

Tune is a pal of mine, but I think it would be a good fight now that we have similar poison resist and there's a 50 Poison resist threshhold on denon's bereavement.

Cleric BoTB ... I destroyed this BoTB simply because as a bard/enchanter played I had better pet management skills, than the other players who probably had never dealt with a pet in the past. In the end I won because I got good procs, and because I backed Nizzar's pet out of CH range and he didnt have a hot key to back it up.

Go ahead and add whatever other stupid occurrences you witnessed at the BoTB's.

i think the botb was just fine. botb should be done every year though.

a lot of people weren't playing back then or like me, got banned for doing extremely retarded shit and didn't have a character to compete with.

BOTB has to be ran by GMs or people will cry.

Do Lite's posts represent coherent thought? Surely, but they are inspired by the grief of a butthurt baby.

Perhaps Eq is not the game for you. You should try WoW everyone is on equal footing there and would cater to your "PVP only" style.

Thats cute. I made Warlord/High Warlord forget the exact title whichever was highest back before the game went to crap and turned into world of welfare and made everything boringly equal.
