From what i hear, they completely changed the lore and story around, Anyone who knows 4-6 is gonna hate it. Anyone who knows 1-3 is gonna hate it. Anyone who just likes pretty pictures will enjoy it.

I enjoyed the originals. i okayed the newest ones. im fairly certain ill hate this one. Although, being disney i will enjoy playing their "Find the penis and dirty words" game in scenes.
Considering thats the only thing theyre good at producing.

So consider this.

They didn't just throw out the original story, which includes the first 6 films. The Skywalker legacy will continue, but may die off, who knows.

The point is; They are continuing the story of Luke and it will conclude with the 9th film.

Will Disney screw it up? No. Will JJ? No. Will you as a fan of the originals? That is your opinion, and you are entitled to it.

If you say you can bare or thing Ep 1 - 3 is OK. And, I feel about the same as you. Then I think you can stomach this and you will not hate it. Just remember it is the Star Wars universe. There are new characters and it will mainly focus on them and their continued story. It will NOT be about Princess L, Han Solo and the original droids. It WILL be about Luke Skywalker's survival of the Jedi ways and his ability to over come new enemies along with training the new heroes. AND, it will be about the new enemies that can't just be destroyed easily by Luke.

This universe has changed in a major way and if you haven't been reading the news, you will be surprised on how much it has changed.

Also, if you are a BIG TIME book fan, cannon and expanded universe, then you will probably not like this movie. There is a reason they left all that shit out. Remember, good ol' George Lucas did what ever the fuck he wanted with his movies which had NOTHING to do with the expanded universe originally.

Changed the lore and story in what way though? There isn't exactly a plethora of lore and story in 4-6 (they're just movies after all) and I don't see them contradicting what was shown in them. There may be small liberties taken with some things, like maybe the Emperor's ghost somehow survived, Boba Fett survived (we all know that's gonna happen anyway) or expanding on why that cave on Dagobah was so full of the dark side of the force.

Also understand that the prophecy, Darth Vader DID in fact destroy the Sith. They are no more. That doesn't mean there are force users that don't use the Sith powers.
