Miscellaneous: Hum/Bar should start with candles

I did a few searches but found nothing on this one in bug reports.

All humans and barbarians should start with A Worn Candle (changed to Gloomingdeep Lantern in 2005 on live - it's the same item ID). I don't know for sure but Erudites probably get a candle too.

Most of the proof I can find is from 2004.

I'm playing a lvl 8 BL Barbarian, who started with a 'worn candle' which allowed me to see around the tunnels into the Black Burrow.

(the light strength was also upgraded in 2003 from 'candle' to 'light globe')

BARのWARで始めました。最初に持っていたA Worn Candleをすてて、
Large Lanternを買ったのですが、最初のキャンドルと違って持ち物欄に
入れておくだけでは明るくなりませんでした。Wax Candleを
買いなおしたのですがやっぱり左手に装備しないと明るくなりません。
何とかする方法は無いものでしょうか？

^ posted on 09/22/2004, person is a Barbarian warrior stating that they started out with A Worn Candle, bought a lantern (which didn't work), and then purchased a Wax Candle, which didn't work unless equipped in off-hand.
