RnF has the highest viewing members because it's entertaining and speaks to our obsession with drama. People are not forced to come into this section, and I assure you that probably a good 90%+ that come here aren't "new members" that don't understand what this section is for (ranting and flaming, novel idea right?).

The only ones hurt by these posts are TR apparently because their fragile egos are being trampled now that there is a guild higher on the food chain than them. I highly doubt the dealings of the RnF section of the forums is going to stop anyone from associating with or applying to TMO. Except perhaps TR members that had their feelings hurt (which is why Tiggle continues to post if you haven't figured it out yet).

Quit acting butthurt over a video game and maybe we'd all lose interest over how much TR has degraded to a bunch of whining pussies that don't get Trak kills any more.

While these things do happen they aren't always completely accurate or cover the full scope of the situation.

For example: although Slippery did incite Relapsee to the final racist outburst that was actually caught, logged, and reported not only to the officers but the GMs, he was kicked off of the server in attempts to just shut him up but was ultimately removed from the guild when he decided to continue to log back in and spam guildchat with colorful remarks. The previous few days had fielded a few complaints here and there but nothing serious. When it got to the point of obvious drunken rage he was removed.

As far as Quickfingers is concerned he was reprimanded. That was indeed uncalled for but not necessarily unprovoked. Having members of an opposing guild porting you across the world as a "joke" is more serious to some than to others (especially when it was under the guise of forming an experience group) and in Quickfingers' case he lashed back. I don't blame him for that, but his outburst surely doesn't represent the guild as a whole because not all of us were ported to Toxxulia Forest. In the past there have been shouts such as, "You feel as if you are about to fail," a wordplay reference based on the message a player receives when the levitation spell is about to fade. This was a common theme in the early days of the server by players of IB (and probably other guilds but I only saw reference to it once when Hasbinbad joined our guild and shouted it back at IB... I asked him what it was about and requested he stop.. turns out it was a pasttime of the early raiding days on P99). What Quickfingers said was much more blunt and abrasive, but insults are surely nothing new to this server and the population at large, and I'd probably lash out too.... probably more subtly.


In short, just because you notice these players posting in a no rules section of the forum doesn't mean 1) you know anything about them other than what they publicly admit 2) should make judgements about them 3) should make judgements about their guild as a whole. If you are looking for a spokesman of TMO, as I said, I'd probably talk to an officer... that might be much more fruitful than coming to RnF for all of your information.

I'm can imagine that both sides are just as guilty. From what I understand he was receiving tells all day so reactions from both sides reflect poor decisions. I won't defend him, he can do that. You dudes are getting too excited, almost like you don't expect to be as "successful" as you've been lately. It feels like TR has been bullying you since third grade, and you finally got some bigger kid to have your pimply little backs. Honestly, I don't think there's really any doubt that eventually TR will be back "on top", in some iteration. They just seem a great deal more intelligent on average. And TMO seems pretty scared, imo.

WoW pvp was incredibly fun. i loved the oldschool world pvp and early BGs. those southshore vs tarren mill battles were like animated scenes out of world war 1. 2 front lines with each shooting missiles at each other and every once in a while somebody would muster up the courage to charge and the other side would retreat. fun times

UO pvp was amazing for just that reason too. especially fel pre-tram where you could do things like carve a PK's head off and hand it to a guard and collect a bounty. then there were thieves running around town stealing your things and you couldn't step outside of the guard's boundaries without thinking any second a PK would run by, kill you and take all of your stuff. that game was ruthless but incredibly fun
