1. Yes, to an extent. I think there is a motive to vaccinate the population, and I think they will skew scientific studies to reach that goal. If it's a benevolent goal or not is unknown to me. They may in fact think they're doing a global good thing.
2. CDC is certainly corrupt, imho. From what I've researched and gathered with vaccine schedules and ingredients it seems like a money making scheme for them. Not to eradicate disease or better the population.
3. Pharma does indeed do some good work in some fields,not discrediting helpful pharmaceuticals. I do think big pharmaceutical is out to profit and make a successful business though, not heal the population. After all if they heal you they lose a customer.
4. Not educated enough on other countries vaccine and pharmaceutical practices to comment. I do think the corruption I see in the US not building my confidence on a system elsewhere being any different, but I'll keep an open mind.


As I said before, not looking to argue or change anyone's mind. I'm just giving my 2cp. This topic is something I'm very passionate about. I'm sure you would question all this stuff if you had a kid die after he got his shots as well.

RNA is not DNA. In theory, the Pfizer vaccine triggers the production of some antibodies by the cell and then gradually decays. In practice, we simply do not know the long term effects. The clinical trial only lasted 6 months and it only tested for the ability of the vaccine to prevent low level COVID symptoms, not deaths, as COVID simply doesn't kill anyone healthy enough to qualify for a vaccine trial. Skepticism about new ways to edit one's genetic code does not in any way involve a rejection of Dalton's laws or other basic chemistry, because basic chemistry and physics cannot at this point accurately predict how a human body is going to respond. Which is why we have clinical trials.

mRNA vaccines don't permanently or even temporarily change the genome of anything-- they don't touch the genome. Cells use mRNA, which is transcripted as a 'copy' of a section of your genome, to encode the production of proteins elsewhere in the cell. Like if you think of a cell like a corporation that has a headquarters and a factory, your DNA is in the headquarters, which writes mRNA mail to send to the factory across town in the endoplasmic reticulum, which uses the mRNA directions to build a protein.

mRNA vaccines simply insert those directions directly into the cell, which takes them and makes them into immunity-significant pieces of the virus, which the cell then excretes. Those pieces get picked up by your immune system which recognizes--and destroys-- them when they show up again in the form of covid.

mRNA vaccines have a potential safety advantage in that they don't actually use any form of viable virus at all-- it is impossible for anyone to get infected with anything through the use of one. It is also cheaper and more efficient to mass produce. The downsides are that it is difficult and costly to transport and store because the mRNA is very fragile. Those "experts" are either not experts or their comments are being misconstrued. A virus that we knew nothing about would take a lot longer, but we had the basic technology for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines already as they were using it for SARS.

They never got critical population penetration w/ SARS in order to continue and conclude trials. With COVID they did. The only things missing or rushed from the COVID trials were some population diversity and the several years of post-vaccine followup they typical do with studies.

In terms of 80% effective, you're using the same stupid logic you hear people (Trumptards and assorted morons) use in the US -- "If it's not 100% effective it doesn't work".

The goal for a vaccine is not a 100% invulnerability shield. In the JnJ vaccine, for example, they had zero deaths and almost no serious illness from COVID.

With these vaccines, the point seems to be to get a shot. You might get a reaction that is like a 24-hour flu that 100% won't kill you. What you get in return is pretty reasonable assurance that you either won't get COVID or, if you do, you'll be asymptomatic or have mild symptoms.

I'm not taking it. Every time I got a flu shot in the Army I got sick as fuck for like 5 days or more. Now that I'm out I Haven't got it in almost 10 years, and haven't got the flu yet. I hear it's best to not use anti-biotics too much because your body doesn't learn how to defend itself on it's own. Maybe if this thing continues to mutate it's going to be best for your body to learn how to fight this thing while it's starting out.

You got "sick" because your body mounted an immune response to the vaccination. That's a good thing.

You don't use antibiotics for viral infections. Antibiotics are often prescribed for patients with covid pneumonia due to other (bacterial) complications.

Antibiotics are necessary to fight a lot of bacterial infections. The reason you take the entire course of antibiotics or shouldn't use them if you don't actually need them is bacteria can build resistance towards antibiotics, making it more difficult to kill them.
