well I'll be honest. I'm relocating in real life across the country on the 29th of this month. I'll only be active the first week which is probably the best time to be playing. I won't be leading a force but i will be playing with a group of 6-8 friends. Not sure which team we will be on as I wont be in charge. After the 29th I probably wont be seen for a week or so then only be playing 0-2 hours a night. I'm not sure how big of a deal we will actually be but I guess time will tell!

Isn't your experience on Zek playing with a very small group for a couple weeks? That statement seems pretty bold with your lack of information. Either you are clueless on what has happened on zek previously or you are grossly over estimating the severity of hacking and amount of people that have cheated and gotten away with it on Red. I wouldn't call changing skeleton form to human elite hacking.

Regarding gearing... I joined the server when everyone was already lvl 50 with epics. Took me about 2-3 hours to hit max lvl and then I went neckbeard hard in pvp for two days and had full gear with epic. If you throw down and grt involved in the pvp, you gear up very fast.

Titty was scary on that wizard.

No. it's much like red but with faster leveling. You also retain your gear after dying and are locked out of whatever zone you died in for 10 minutes.

So you pvp, die, respawn with all your shit, get mana/rebuff and are ready to go again10 minutes later. Maximum pvp with minimal downtime.

far from forced, barely anyone boxed pvp last season past level 20. Its like LIME said before, boxes get ripped through. Line up 6 2boxes, 2 decked out guys will knock them down. Dentists didn't box pvp for a reason the competition was too stiff.

I personally don't because killing a box is the same as killing a main. Anyone who said "that's my box" in ooc post-pras got shit on.

Titty didn't box anything ever and was #1 by a lead of hundreds of kills playing a squishy wiz. He might have been a thousand kills ahead, I have no idea I lost track and you stop checking once someone is so far head.

In a boxed setting, good players will just shit on the same 80% pool of garbage players. They will rarely ever kill each other.


Another reason why classic eq > better than later expansions. Buffs and clickies get retarded. Well geared players have to stand still for like 2 minutes to die.

Alright you got a point with that on Season 2.

That's how Dentists rocked out until reaching city level and upgrading the city buffers. Full buffers even in the 20 bracket.

Last season, once your city was fully loaded, buffbots were obsolete putting everyone who had a city affiliation on equal footing. The buffs were equal to anything a player had.

This season, the buffs are 50% as good. People bitched about max buffs in the cities and people nuthugging the cities, so the devs nerfed the big marquee buffs. Transferring a lot of power back to the boxers.

The zek servers used to be pretty fun when it was limited to classic and Kunark. I don't know why they went so far with the custom zones and gear this time. Classic zones with added Luclin safe zones, new raid zones, custom gear, and custom spells is too much. The balancing is impossible with so many classes and changes. The older servers used to have a longer life and could be up and running with much less effort.

It really was perfect timing for devnoob/image to finally open a legit server and steal some long term members with red99 being stuck in Velious. Then they made this weird server.

Having a non factor nobody walking around with a fungi at level 10 on a pvp server that definitely did not earn it. massive cheating.

zek there is nothing to rmt as all the gear is super easily attainable and boxing is legal so nobody can really do any kind of cheating. they might be able to find a few exploits and not report them thats about it.

the only people that dont like zek are psychologically damaged degenerates that are obsessed with their p99 ego's and cant let go.

If they actually had active gms on p99 then yes keep it illegal. they do not have that and is why it should be legalized. just like training i forget that example. The issue, if people have one, is if the bone chip bug was actually a bug or a cheat for players the Devs favored. The argument that they took it out after it was exposed is irrelevant. I don't think it was your predictions lil buddy. I said Legion, Civ 6, and Fall season were going to take a lot of people out of this one. I can name 15 individual people who are playing Legion/other stuff instead of Season 2 Zek who intentionally skipped this season because of other options. This is a respectable, smart decision.

In your case, skipping Zek for red99 is not one of those respectable, smart decisions.

Box has a lot of new faces, pop is doing pretty well. Constant action for now. High quality mass pvp has been going on against Jibs crew.
