They are just starting out with totally new leadership and took an opportunity to get some easy loot from desired Class R mobs before moving up. It's a breather week as they prepare to re-enter the fray with Rampage (at least that's what I hear).

In a week or two they will have moved on and you can go back to business as usual.

The one good thing that came out of all of it is that we are now converting the guildbank into red platinum to help get things started over here. Red has been good times so far!

We don't just compete with TMO, but that still happened.Also, I strive to be friendly in and out of game, but its just fucked up that some of the people in this thread have anything to say at all about Forsaken in class R temporarily.

They pushed IB into a major reform, a new tag, and split leadership with a class R guild that has been around a long time (just like current TMO is basically doing now).

Neither guild directly destroyed the other, but the competitive pressure involved certainly played a role in the internal problems that led to both conclusions.

You're right though, it's not nearly as simple as I put it.

IB killed just as many Class C/FFA targets as TMO the final month before they reformed, http://www.project1999.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1814026&postcount=412. I don't even need to tell you how TMO did their final month for very obvious reasons. So yeah, competitive pressure is always there I guess, whatever. But they don't compare.
