I disagree, in regards to BDA there's a large core of members that haven't even seen an upgrade in years yet we slog through it to make sure our friends get geared up too. I'm pretty sure Anthrax has never seen a legit upgrade through BDA since he came stacked up through VD and was only lacking VP loot. Personally, I've won an AoN random and got a side grade from Inny (had sky shoulders, use sode to dps) in the past two years. Anything else I've received from the guild has been rots for my SK.

Life can be rough in BDA, the loot flow is slower since we don't have the drive for the class C pixel piñata so that's obviously not what is keeping people around. It's the guild comraderie.

I'm not gonna argue with this. my generalization was ... a tad too general.

It doesn't have to be the zone in. The fact that you're dragging all these mobs around the zone to buy time creates fucking chaos and kills the rogues or monks scouting to make a tag or holy shit potential cross aggro that can infect the other raid force.

The Inny we won was initially engaged near the well, it still wiped Taken and half of your guild. That shouldn't be ok. If I were Taken I'd be FURIOUS that IB's reckless behavior cost my guild a kill. There's no shame in losing to either of those guilds -- they have good leadership and experience on their side. The only shame is when you use one of those guilds beating the other for lolz while you hide in class R and clean up Taken scraps.

I mean seeing Sirken call out the players for infractions and suspended them is good. However, He is punishing players on the infractions he chooses to go forward with. Some valid petitions get thrown out when both guilds have petitions from each side to offset them.

Yet the players that incurred those penalties are not getting punished simply because those were the petitions that got thrown out due to a deal. It makes it a bit unfair to players from all guilds that do get a suspension doing it that way. They get punished for the same things other players did. Their petition in that instance just didn't get thrown out.

Asgard is probably killing more mobs now than they did during their time in the rotation even if they only pick off mobs on repops. I get it by the BDA members. And you don't see what gets thrown or washed out. I am all for the calling out of players who do bad things or accidental things and should play better. However, if you move to the system of doing that as a part of punishments you have to punish players on the petitions that get thrown out as well even if the infraction itself gets thrown out. Don't be dumb. Class R has less spawns than FFA and Class C. They don't have VP. When you factor in the numbers You have over 50 encounters that Class C is involved in in a month. The overall numbers depend on repops. So out of all those encounters you get 4 to 5 problems each side has a problem with. Class R since it has went competitive and wth 1/3 of the spawns has already had 2 suspensions since it went competitive.

It's all relative to how many spawns guilds compete on. The more you have the more likely you are to have problems that one side gets upset about. I'm not saying Class C doesn't look for more problems. Get suspended a few times and you learn to watch for the things and get motivated to do so. However it isn't only a Class C thing.

I'm glad as well that I'm not playing on p99 for many reasons and especially considering they make up reasons to ban characters for things that never happened. I only found out about it when I tried to drop by and say hi about 6 months ago, and apparently I was banned for "RMT" that occurred in 2013 before I even disbanded TMO. Supposedly happened in the time period while we were successful and I was still actively leading, yet I was banned 2 yrs later while inactive in 2015 lol.

If I did want to come back Fount I do still have about 10 lvl 60s including my 2nd SK who is fully geared with the prenerf fungi staff. :D Though maybe I shouldn't be saying this because some staff may decide to ban those chars to prevent me from ever coming by lol.

Yup and you have always been cool to me. Alot of the drunken drama was funny picture a drunken drama llama at the keyboard! But you always cared about TMO and your friends also you were cool to talk to. I miss you guys all of you. I came back again in March with a friend from Fennin when he started here it just isnt the same. I see some TMO that im friends with online and some I know but majority are new people. You guys were why I started here(Zee when I first caught up with him on the TMO boards and then later you, DD and others I knew from Fennin) and its sad to log in and not be able to spam you guys with tells.(believe me I am pretty sure Cecily and other friends who are still playing miss you too for that reason less spam to them)

I've never met you Zeelot, and I have never posted on RnF (I don't think), but as an active player on P99, I completely echo those sentiments.


Sad to hear stuff like this went on back then, and it saddens me more knowing that it still happens presently.

This post isn't aimed to bash staff or the people who run the server, but merely a reflection of how things that are clearly wrong and unjust are still allowed.

You know how I feel, and we've already spoken, so please don't think I'm being hostile. I want what you want. No one wants to throw out so many friendships and good memories just because they got a little banged up.

But the whole "real TMO" thing isn't going to help do that. If "real TMO" keeps getting pressed, it's only going to further divide the same people you want to bring together. All that does is put everyone under a microscope to see if they belong in the secret club. Are the people who've been in the guild since 2010 real TMO? What about the people who poured their hearts into every thing in 2012? 2013?

This shouldn't be about "real TMO." Nor should it be about the guild bank or other petty concerns. This is, and always has been, an issue of trust.

People didn't get hurt because the guild was disbanded. It's just a name. People didn't get hurt because the bank disappeared. They're just pixels. People got hurt because the ones they trusted didn't act the way they were trusted to. A lot of people made a lot of bad mistakes, but it's never too late to come back and make things right. It's not an easy thing. It's actually pretty difficult.

Seeking reconciliation to ask and grant forgiveness isn't something we do because it's easy. It's something we do in spite of its difficulty because it's the right thing to do.
