First time ever posting (Khadafi), but DA didnt start the poopsocking all those months ago ... at the time we were way under geared compared to IB, heavily farming planer trash as we all needed the class sets ...

It dawned on us that if we strategically trash farmed zones in which gods due, it would give a a much needed head start on content we were still fighting to learn due to IB's iron fist dominance.

After our first or second god kill in this fashion, that IB (nearly fully planer geared) felt they could compete in their own way by getting 15 core into the zone with no other intent then to afk wait on the god to gain claim and first attempt. And thus afk poopsocking wars begun.

IB had CT claim and we going for draco, but the DT just keep going off, and the zone crashed cos some dick explioting bug, and eventually lost draco to div. At the time was thinkin why would IB do this shit when they have claim to CT, now maybe it was div all along.

At the time you were thinking logically, we would not crash the zone to swap loot, especially with a soul leech in CTs hands and SKs there to use it, but at some point you decided to listen to your leadership which lied to you & the GMs. What about when IB was about 2-3 minutes away from killing draco AND keeping claim on CT because you guys were too slow getting 15 up there. All we had to do was down draco before you hit the 15 mark, which would have been easy had your guild members not crashed the zone, more than once mind you. And believe all you want, but your guildies got banned for it and then it stopped and hasn't happened since.

We clear to draco, medding for pull, DA had like 7-9 in the zone IIRC and were rushing to get 15 so we'd have to pick a mob and not get both. They obviously weren't gonna do it, we had people in feerrott checking for incomings, but low and behold the zone starts crashing.

What results after a few more zone crashes is both bosses are despawned by rogean -- after a guide said we were gonna race for 2/3 golems to see who got pick for 1st mob - OVERRULED says rogean, better luck next week he says. The fact they wanted us to do the race after we were there first was ludicrous in itself, they just couldn't prove who was crashing and DAs propaganda team was at its worst in shout. So instead of letting the guild that was there first have at least 1 boss which they should have been entitled to, DA caused us to lose out on not only the draco we were minutes away from pulling - but any chance at CT as well, BY CHEATING and lying to GMs.

Acarer trained DA at the ledge in Sol B. He was butthurt because some DA took efreeti and he wanted it. So he decided to go aggro the LDC at lava and run to the ledge, bringing the entire stone spider room up to the ledge. Causing DA to wipe. He was the only IB even there and in the zone. When asked why he did it as he was looting his corpse, he replied and I quote "I didn't mean to". Looted his gear and left. So I guess he just dropped to die, loot his corpse and leave or something. But hey bro, IB is the nicest guild on the server. You don't train people right? Wrong.

Now you like to talk a lot on the forums but the minute something happens to you in game what do you do. Whine and cry and petition. Want examples?

1) IB wipes themselves in Hate. DA comes in. Owns them and get claim. IB whines and petitions. Doesn't man up and admit their mistake. Nah, that would be too good for you guys. To save face, members of your own guild lied to the officers and claim I trained them. Only later did that person admit to me they were the ones that trained you and apologized to me. 2) IB and DA are in fear. Otto aggros the golem triggering DTs. I have the SS of his fully geared corpse on the golem hill btw. Timestamped. It's hilarious. So DA for once grows some balls and tells you guys to go fuck yourselves. As they should have. As you were stroking each other's cocks in the SE corner, DA pulled CT and killed him without you even knowing it. What does IB do? The bad ass guild that prides themselves on FFA and being the absolutely most bestest ever at Everquest? They petitioned and whined to the GMs

3) Humwawa tries and helps you out by dragging one of your dead members in Fear. By accident he gets aggro on 1 mob and it comes to the camp. I think one person might have died and it was a total accident. Even members of your own guild said it was an accident. What does IB do? Whine and cry and petition, getting the guy suspended for 10 days

I really wish you IB guys that post here a lot would cut the phony bullshit and stop pretending you're angels. You are far from it friendo. Also the Eye was stunning and nuking me, unlike the broken raid mob you were kiting, that didn't even summon like it should have been. Third, Jeremy who was in IB briefly got accused of 2 boxing. He also got removed promptly, and is now back in Transcendance.

Whether it's true or not, the majority of us believe they do, and believed it long before this failthread began. That's just a reflection of the negative light IB allows itself to be painted. Newest mobs will pop at the top if you see red letters(boss) it means something popped. When your about to fall asleep or can't take it then you call out in vent for someone to take over. If nobody can take over then you text and officer etc... that's what rotating tracking is. I don't know about the "second" it spawns but we'd usually know by the minute it's up. It sounds rough but when your doing other shit in the background it's not as taxing as your implying. Clearly you've never worked for anything in this game, so the concept of people NOT using sketchy programs to cheat their way must be completely foreign.

I've been outside splitpaw with MY showEQ up and I've systematically watched people from those above guilds make B-lines to placeholder mobs and quillmane specifically. Keep in mind none of these characters were druids, rangers or bards so they were not tracking via skill.

I've been in teamspeak with several guilds as they pop a rogue up in hide and put on showEQ to track for Inny/CT, this from Transcendence as a guild but I won't name names.

I've been in guilds where people two boxed, and have several instances where those main guilds I've posted above have dual logged clerics on to rez raids after failed attempts due to having one logged out in a safe spot.

I've seen first hand people from those above guilds exploit merchants with rechargeable items, (Hell I was in IB vent one day when they were doing this with leatherfoot skull caps) and abuse the sell bug to duplicate platinum and run shady tricks to duplicate god loot.

None of your guilds are clean, every guild on this server has been guilty of duping, exploiting, zone crashing, MQing, ShowEQing, two boxing and otherwise sketchy shit.

So before you go "Oh it's Abacab don't believe him!" at least I admit to using showEQ, at least I admit to login server bugging to log on random chracters, at least I admit to training, and exploiting systems on various occasions.

The screenshot with Otto's corpse at Fright temple, with his gear full on... I placed it there, I was in fear that day doing my routine /shout bullshit while I was pulling Eminence corpses to the firewall. Otto, who was assisting me with those corpses ended up dying somewhere in the middle of fear.

Long ago, I was hanging with Zilo and I showed him how to xfer no-drop items through forge glitching, Zilo used this method on a few occasions along with one other member in IB I cannot remember.

I used to sneak into your Ventrilo server after Karsten gave me the info, where I'd sit with Emil and listen to several of your members run around EFP selling and rebuying leatherfoot caps to renew the charges, not a major exploit but for people who claim to be anti-cheat is rather compromising of your ideals.

I've been in Plane of Fear where the only member of IB in the zone was a stripped paladin, I had showEQ running and as soon as my alarm went off several IB members popped inside the zone... Keep in mind there were no trackers in this zone only a paladin.

I've watched members of yours in South Karana run from point to point on quillmane spawns, once such member I can distinctly remember was Olympia which is kind of odd since he is a Warrior... this was prior to me baiting him into saying derogatory remarks to Rogean then forwarding the SS to Rogean over AIM just to watch the ban happen in progress... That was justified because cocksucker didn't give me Vox when I demanded it.

It allows bards to indefinitely kite a boss on island 4 and hold it for his guild until they are ready to engage. That's why Rogean changed the raid rules the very next day. The bard doesn't have to be the one to damage it to 95%. Get it now bro?

Example: Some Sk tags the mob from a different island and is spam sitting to try and drag it up the island while Guild A is doing damage to it. Instead of the mob pathing up the island out of the reach of guild A, the mob summons the SK who is being a douche. Make sense now?

You've witnessed the corpses spawning multiple items, you were around when tumpy tonics were abused, when highkeep was bugged and guard kills gave experience, you were around when people could sell a diamond over and over again to a merchant, you were around when people were drop duping on this server.

All of those things were a result of a bad code, just like when the trade skill windows were adjusted you could place an item in a forge as you were logging out and pick it up on another character when you logged back in.

Like I said it's in the petition forum, Nilbog and developers were aware of it cause it was reported

We all saw that shit in sky when you took their mob and they called you out on it in shout and you basically told them tough shit - you'd have done anything to get those charm pets to help tank lord and you did, you broke the rules and then you wiped. Like I said before, Gwence looked lonely up there kiting a melee mob that couldn't catch him, so I decided to keep him company and kite some myself. I was in three different hardcore guilds on that server during the years that I played there. And at one time or another, they were always fighting like cats and dogs, and making all sorts of ridiculous accusations and counter accusations. It's only concurrent for zones that have mobs that have high profile camps and or raid targets.

Which means you can take your characters and group around several zones up to a certain level without PvP repercussions, but if you want to take a risk for greater loot, access higher level zones and camps, or attempt a raid encounter you'll be flagged.

So I can run my druid kiting up a storm all over the place but let's say I zone into skyfire to gain better xp or attempt mobs there I'll be flagged

The mobs assist delay was before they would start to move to CT. Add the time it takes for them to get there, and you get CT free for 20-25 seconds with a raid force of 50ish.

Pheer my point is WI didn't quit 'cause they failed to get gorgalisk. I don't blame ya'll for going after gorgalisk, and if you either blame or credit yourself with WI's disappearance you're mistaken.

WI quit because WI sucked time and time again. Day in and day out. The leadership was lacking, and we couldn't compete here. So they went back to live to avoid competition.

Part of the problem is that we had lousy monks with 30% raid attendance. It got to be so bad I was asked to bring my monk out of retirement to replace my cleric.

Say what you want about the leadership, but I notice that you are the only one making those claims.

Let me let you in on a little secret, WI left because of the raiding situation here and other guilds taking blatantly breaking the server raid rules and Nilbog and Rogean refuse to enforce them, along with the impression that things are not going to change.

And for those of you hoping Kunark is going to change things, good luck with that -- Spirell was the only one working on the Kunark content, and he is gone. You'll be lucky if Kunark is released in less than a year now. The prospect of putting up with this shit for at least another year is what caused most us to go elsewhere. We will have to wait and see how it goes when Live releases their time based progression server. I suspect that a LOT of people will move there.

I'm sorry but a guild that can field 45 people for a CT attempt less than a week before the guild leadership rage quits and runs back to EQ live so they can have uncontested named mobs is not in trouble from anything other than that leadership.

This guild had a LOT of potential but it seems the leadership wasn't up to the task of actually having to compete. You expected to walk in here after just barely getting most of your members past 46 and take any mobs you wanted against guilds like IB/Div who have been here since the server started basically. All of this while never punishing members who weren't following orders, jumping around between raid targets instead of picking one to poop sock, and so on.

Its more then just the griefing. Bum, Auena, and I are all odler with jobs and kids and other real life commitments that we pretty much put on hold for a couple of months to attempt to raid here. I can't speak for them, but from my point of view it was more than just the griefing. I was sick of waking up at 3am to clear something, only to have a group of 20 year-old unemployed kids who are on 24/7 come and gank a mob with the specific purpose of fucking with us. If we could have set raid times, or the other guilds would act with any sort of ethics or morality, then we would not be having this discussion.

Divinity thinks it was funny to train our raids in hate while we were AFK waiting for inny. IB thinks its funny to wait until we zone up onto a island in sky just to pull the mob 2 minutes after we get there. Our options were either to do the same, or quit. Personally I am not interested in lowering my standards to the scumbag level, so I quit playing on p99. There is no new content due out for a long time to allow us to do much more than farm hate/fear armor droppers and maybe island 1/2 of sky, with the occasional (i.e. if we are lucky) god in there.

Also, as the guy who has done most of kunark development to date, its more like a year + off then the 4-6 months people keep touting. I have done the mobs for 11 of the 30 zones, and it has taken me 3 months of 5+ hours a day to do just that. That is JUST the mobs, no pathing, no loot, no quests, no scripts. Now other people are supposed to do all those other things, but most of them are 4-5 zones behind me. Add that all in, with the fact that the zones will need to be beta tested for a few months.. you are talking early 2011 optimistically

Improbable, it took me a little over a week to rehaul Kunark's content in terms of spawns, loot, and fixing mobs that need a overtune... Pathing alone I will admit would take me months if I did it alone, but content? Nah.

The only reason why Durison lead anything on p99 is because of the FoH forum pals & Fish Bait.
