Fountree was recently removed by TMO then had all his accounts banned for RMT because he sold a BDA ranger (now banned) a VS MQ that he was entrusted to hold for the guild.

When asked about it's location he played dumb until "The Hound" Loyal to TMO (Sirken) hunted him down and found out where it went. After the bans he posts a tirade on our forums saying the NEW TMO only cares about loot and not it's members all the while saying he was in the right to RMT the stone because it became his when TMO disbanded.

He is now trying to start a new raid guild and/or Join IB. I'm sure his Diablo 2 Experience will come in handy for them.

FYI Fountree, TMO was always and is always about the loot I would step on the throat of every member of the guild for a piece of loot for my 3rd alt, we all would that's why we are the best.

School is mainly taking up my time and at the time I was trying to go on another deployment. Either you are all in or out in somethings, so I decided to call it quits for now.

Jeremy came to me saying Eccezan was stealing items from the bank and most likely RMTing it. So When I got some info I went back to Jeremy, he told me to never mind everything was accounted for. I bought this MQ off of fountree, I posted a thread wanting to buy a stone, within an hour i received a PM from fountree. We ended up talking in game making a deal, and finally after a few days completing the MQ. Upon turn in, fountree requested that I didn't tell anyone who I recieved the MQ from, he states that he was going to leave TMO due to some issues going on with the FE merger etc, and didn;t want any greif. I respcted his request, We made a deal of 200k for the stone. Yesterday I received a text form unbrella asking if it was fountree that I got the MQ from, I told him yes it was, later another one of my boys from TMO call me me up, explaning the situation that was going on regarding fountree. When I got home, i Pm'd sirken with a few details of the transaction and all appears to be well.

What is your understanding of the situation? If you look at what actually happened, it's a huge jump to consider all of the affected players to be corrupt

~20 of the accounts belonged to the two dupers. The remaining were spread amongst the guild. The only criteria used in suspending the affected accounts was whether or not the dupers had ever logged onto that account. Even once. Certainly that's the risk we run when we let other people play our characters.They do bad things, and our accounts are affected. However, that falls far short of "corruption." It just means we trusted the wrong person with our stuff.

The issue is misappropriation.

There's two views on this, and what happened is improper under both.

A lot of people are arguing that when Zeelot disbanded and TMO reformed without him that the old guild was dead, and the new one inherited nothing. If that's true then it's dishonest to take the money and run simply because you were left holding it. That's like the treasurer of your book club taking all the cash to buy some sweet ass hardcovers for himself after the club disbands.

In reality, that's what a lot of people would do, but that doesn't make it right.

Alternatively, a lot of us see the current TMO the exact same as the old one because we have many of the same officers and the same guild leader that we did when the old TMO was disbanded. If this is the case, then there is clearly no right to take an item from the bank for pure personal gain. I think Fountree's a good dude, but I disagree vehemently with him on this.

No. That never occurred. There was an attempted rotation many months ago after TMO first came back to raiding, after the suspension. It lasted for two weeks and it only applied to 4 of the 6 VP dragons. There was no sim repop during that time, so sim repops have never been rotated in VP. Since late February everything in VP has been 100% FFA.

TMO/FE merge saved both guilds, really. Prior to the merger TMO was allegedly (I'm not the person to ask for details) imploding due to some drama. It seems as if some old school TMO peeps were never fully on board with the merger and couldnt bear to stick around despite it being a mostly successfulendeavor so far.


As for why FE merged into TMO after spending a year in an alliance with IB, well...FE's leadership/members were more or less disrespected by their former allies (IB) and forced to back out of the planned merger with IB which put us in a position we weren't really too fond of. After we split loot fairly (even though numbers wise IB/FE weren't always fielding equal numbers) with IB and helped them back onto p99's raiding wagon, they more or less decided they no longer needed FE once they got back on their feet. Whats funny to me is how many folks predicted this would happen prior to FE even beginning our alliance with them.

In support of action being taken against cheaters and hopefully against TMO causing further damage to the overall health of the server, bumping this ancient post. Every guild except TMO who wants to raid needs to come together against the server bullies in some way.


Perhaps a server wide alliance against TMO will make them reconsider their position, we all know velious will be dominated by 100+ tmo members camping every mob. The rest of the server deserves a shot at completing kunark before velious...tmo has literally farmed it dry and prevented any other guild from killing more or less trivial content.


If the other half of p99 that's not in tmo wants to ever raid shit besides hate and fear before velious I suggest they come together now in defense of the game we all love and deserve to have the same shot at experiencing atleast somw of the "latest" content.


To TMO: keep being scumbags and ruining a 12 yr old game in the name of "competition" when 90% of your guild are talentless fucks with too much free time and big mouths who can't help bragging about the strength of your collective e-peens. FE downed gore with 33, which is about our average raid force.
She dropped a shield which is amazing for VP frost wurms, a scale which will eventually be used for someones epic, and some other items which I forget. If TMO had gotten this kill these items would be on the market in EC within hours. Dont believe me? Zone into EC when zeelot or eccezan is there.

Yet when FE gets a kill all loot is used by mains who need, how are we even placed in the same category as TMO? For christs sake they are running a pay to play scheme in VP meanwhile anyone not in TMO will have to wait months after velious is out to even go there unless they pay TMO or spend hours training against their 100 character raid force just to get an attempt at a dragon.


The problem.on p99 isn't mechanics, raid mobs spawn time, or anything thr GMs can change. P99s problem is TMO, has been for years. When people realize this on a grand scale maybe they will join forces and rid p99 of its cancer.
