Why would fighting in a wall matter anymore with VP being outdoors? Seems like an idiot idea actually. Could cause all kinds of LOS problems for melee/casters, with zero benefit. Unless you wanted to corner pin him, which is a super common classic feature.

Nobody is dodging anything. My point is that pulling any dragon beyond his door and having him glitch anywhere, by letter of the law, is exploiting due to repeatable and relied upon pathing errors. Due to this, you have been cheating in VP since it opened. FE has been as well. Your guild has continually used these exploits in this zone to grief (Nexona? going over the world for example)

If there are no rules in VP this is not an issue. If rules by previous GM's are not in place then killing on the ledge is not an exploit. Which the rule was put in place when it was an indoor zone and ae's could be blocked. Vox and Nagafen are indoors. Trak is Indoors.

IF you want to prove to me that AE's in outdoor zones can be glitched.. put sev or tal in a wall. Otherwise you have no PROOF that it does anything but harm a raid engage.

I completely agree with you. Except that it is NOT lawless. Call it what you want but for a Non-CSR zone, many rules were made for it. Those rules were made to be followed or else you face a raid suspension. FE knew about the rules but pulled PD to a ledge regardless and undoubtedly figured they would just play dumb/say it was on old rule and it gave no advantage anymore. Bottom line is that you purposefully disobeyed a GM stated VP rule. If TMO did this, you would be bellyaching so hard it would be ridiculous and we would likely face a raid suspension.

So the rules of vp are:
1) if it is training its ok
2) if it has to do with zone geometry/pathing /glitching it's not ok?
3) Every old rule made about VP is still in effect.

1) if it is training its ok Yes
2) if it has to do with zone geometry/pathing /glitching it's not ok? In so far as I know, you cannot be positive that the dragon won't utilize fucked up VP pathing and subsequently warp. You cannot deny the pathing in VP is brutal. Doing something intentionally, IE making a dragon warp on top of a balcony is no good as the GM's have stated. If they so it's fine now, cool, gravy, I'm on board.
3) Every old rule made about VP is still in effect. I don't see how FE GENUINELY thought that them pulling PD to a ledge is OK now, you were risking a raid suss over PD loot, IMO.

Guys, it is pretty simple.

The rules are abitrary, and different people have ruled differently on different issues based on a number of factors in the past. It is a non-CSR zone until CSR occurs. At which point some rules will be put into place or enforced, while others will not be (thus remanaining up in the air). This may or may not be against or in favor of you or your guild.

Any and everything is possible, the rules simultaneously do and do not apply/exist, and the zone both is and is not eligable for server staff to intercede.

Any questions you have nobody cares about until the time in which they become an issue (this is also to be decided arbitrarily and at a whim).

Must have been, they wiped to it somehow, AE had to be working. Regardless the only problem anyone can have with it is that it was deemed illegal by the GM's and is widely known by ex-IB, VD, BDA and TMO.

You forget the some 10 adds we had on our first engage. If we started killing mobs on a ledge there would be no more "attempts" on VP dragons.

PD can easily be killed with 3 well made groups with no adds.

The staff feels that this trivializes the zone and content. The way the dragons are being pulled is also causing them to path through the walls. This significantly reduces the potential for adds and further trivializes content. The "trash mobs" in Veeshan's Peak are intended to be part of the challenge of the zone.

If something you are doing causes an npc to walk through walls instead of through the zone then please report it instead of using it.
