GMs bestowing titles after GM events was done in Classic. The only difference is that our GM events are different... as they should be. I don't see how this complaint is valid.

Whilst titles were classicly awarded, I think it's important to remember the rarity of titles. Having everyone have one just makes it like EQ live With "apprentice chef omnimorph of bristlebane"

Indeed, I can also say for certain that previous Kunark, on E'ci at least, there were four? GM events that I was online for or during where titles were handed out.
