It's server lag causing a slight desynch in your visible pushback and the server's /loc calculation of said pushback, or possibly caused by starting the cast immediately after getting hit while your character is still in motion from melee pushback which takes a brief moment. This could also happen back on live and tends to fix itself at higher levels when channeling is consistent enough that it takes a lot more to interrupt.
