This probably sounds like bs because I definitely should have known better. But I feel bad because I'm sure I ruined a few people's days and not sure how else to describe my behavior and apologize.
Hondara (my druid) ported in to Iceclad, saw a corpse, took everything and scooted. It was lodizal's corpse. I didn't realize it was a significant mob that took a high end team to kill. I should have known better. I realized my mistake when ooc started blowing up so I began looking for whether the no drop piece could be mq'd... but a GM showed up quick and asked me to destroy what I looted, which I did. Unfortunately the map piece belonged to Judoku and they didn't get it because of me. It sucks I did that to someone. I'm really not trying to ruin anybody else's everquest experience, but I was foolish and didn't think and I'm sorry Judoku.

I believe judoku will get reimbursed if a GM got involved. That's why they have you delete the item, so they can grant it to the other user instead.
Thanks for posting a sorry!

Thinking on this I realize that my apology was incomplete.
I ninja looted and subsequently destroyed the map piece as well as three spells. Apologies to Judoku as well as whoever the rightful owners of those spells were. And to Safe Space and to the GM whose time I wasted. I hope you are indeed reimbursed but either way I effed up. I didn't intend to cause grief, and I'm far from a criminal mastermind, I'm a regretful idiot and I'm sorry that my lesson came at your expense.

There's no way you looted Lodi without knowing what it was lol.

Typically when a GM gets involved it leads to a lose/lose outcome. Item gets deleted and server/intended looter get screwed. There are multiple layers to reimbursement such as being able to prove what loot was on the mob and the looter being on the actual engage encounter that often times are not able to be met if someone were to seek reimbursement after the fact.
