P99 / Kunark Beta issue

Just recently started happening; may be in relation to another Bug posting of getting dropped to Desktop.

I play in Windowed Mode; I have played in Windowed Mode since October 2009 and never had any issues before this. Now, whenever I try to go back to my browser; Everquest does not come back up after switching to a website. The Everquest box stays on the taskbar, yet it won't come back up visually.

Has happened in:

-East Commonlands (P99)
-Karnors (kunark beta)

Never had this issue before today, but it's happened to me about 5 times now. Went to my Event Viewer, and no errors are coming up, for both System and Application.

I have read recommendations on switching to WinEQ, yet I don't see how this would be necessary as I've never had this issue without WinEQ before.

Going to run EQ in full screen mode and see how it goes.

Please let me know if there is anymore information that I should post, and thank you for all your efforts of continuously maintaining P99 and keeping our play experience the best you can.

Edit: Literally happening whenever EQ is minimized at all now.

Try using the "Switch To" button on the task manager, right clicking the everquest window, using move, and dragging the translucent outline, or using alt enter to change from windowed to non-windowed. This is more of a tech discussion issue than a bug.

Try the Application Compatibility Manager too.

ok , Uth hit it on the head, I think.

Once opening EQ, windowed mode, if I switch to Desktop or internet browser, I can get EQ back up by right clicking and going "Switch to".

This will work for now I suppose! Thanks Uth
