Default Weapons For Druids?

I have a Druid who is almost level 20 and mostly I have read that after level 20, Druids are mainly all spells and no combat.

I am using a Springwood Club but I want to have something as backup if it's needed, so I'm looking for some suggestions on which weapons to maybe look into between level 20-45/50 before I try for my epic?

Or should I stick with the Springwood Club?

Porcupining was a thing back in the day through your 30s-40s, but certainly not as efficient as kiting, root-rotting, quad-kiting, and charming.

I'm currently using the Springwood Club which has better stats except for the Tashani spell.

Tainted battleworn morning star. It's no drop. Maybe pay someone to help you get it?

Tainted and Springwood are both good, but curious. If you already have a Springwood club why do you need a backup?

Save money for gear/spells etc.

If you're solo there's much faster ways to get xp (charm!). Root rotting also a lot more efficient.

If you're grouped your group probably won't be happy with you meleeing. If you're not expected to heal, find something to charm. Your charm pet will out-dps most everyone else if buffed and hasted.

Don't word about meleeing dps from here on out.

We all get the urge to beat on something every now and then even as a druid. With that said past lvl 20 your time would be better spent meditating between casts - be it healing in a group or solo charm/root n' rot/quad kiting as people have previously stated in this thread. In my opinion, though not the direct answer to your question, I would look into some primary/secondary held items to help with your mana pool (WIS/MANA items + HP if possible) while leveling up. You can always bring out the club in a group that is having no trouble holding down a camp, assuming your roll is spot heals/buffs and you are able to keep up while taking a swing or two [You must be logged in to view images. Just a few ideas expanding upon held items instead of melee weapons. Not sure of your price range but a few can be obtained easily on a low budget. Testament of Vanear is quested but can be done quickly and with no problem with a little help from someone of a higher level. Best of luck my druid friend [You must be logged in to view images. This is what I mean... I do like the whole casting, charming, rooting, rotting, etc. aspect but sometimes I do want to smash and bash.

Let me reword my question... If you have a Druid between level 20-45, what primary weapon do you use or what do you have in your primary slot?
