Hi I'm new here, also how do I get PM privileges?

Hi, I just started project 1999. I play on the red server. I'm mainly looking for assistance directing me towards how to gain access to Private Messaging privileges. However if you have any leveling / gold gain advice. That would be helpful as well.

I play a Ranger. Does anybody have any tips on what my first big weapon purchase should be?
