Default enchanter cleric duo strategy?

We are 16 and 18 and planning on going to uguk tonight.
Is it worth it to weaponize, buff and keep pet alive at this level, or should we let them kill each other?
Any other suggestions appreciated :-)

Let them kill. You can torch them to make em kill more, since torches are cheap. Just have to buy a lot.

Until 50+ healing a pet isn't really efficient.

Only time you want to heal a pet is when breaking it is dangerous (lots of un CC'd mobs or you can't recharm due to mana).

After leveling in UGuk with the same combo myself I'll say I regret it. It makes LGuk far more annoying since I have to invis past those damn live frogs. Probably at 300-400 undead frog faction hits and still KoS to lives.

And you can let the cleric kill things instead of you doing it. That way you have more mana to mez/charm.

He keeps you alive, roots as needed, stuns your pet on breaks and kills mobs at low HP.

Also using a cleric with DA to go into a room and get all the mobs on him so you can safely charm 1 or AE mez them without having to waste mana on lulls is nice and fast.
