Default A couple questions on bard

1. Is the clicky effect on the Singing Steel Breastplate a 100 point heal like it is on live, or is it the endurance one?
2. What is the recast delay on the SSB, if any?
3. To clarify, Bards can cast clickies on the move, correct?
4. Do instrument modifiers effect haste/slow?
5. What is the effect of instruments, if any, on lull/mesmerize line?

2. No recast delay on any clickies
3. Correct
4. No
5. None as far as I can tell

I concur with the above post.

to expand on 5 i read somewhere on here that CHA helps lulls more than using the corresponding instrument. i equip a crude stein when i lull and it seems to help.

I notice a difference in my mezzes and charms when I equip a horn versus having my weapons. It could be my imagination but I doubt that.

Every song I play is actually just me screaming the 1812 Overture in a raspy, shrieking falsetto.

Just as a point of fact, some clickies do have strange recast timers. Hammer of the Dragonborn has a 10-second recast delay on an 8-second cast, so you have to wait at least 2 seconds before clicking it again.

Yibz you owe me 3k

I think as far as landing a lull, charisma affects your chance of a critical resist. I know lull is a function of at least level and probably magic resist, but does charisma actually factor in to the chance of success?

4. Equipping the instrument will not affect the haste/slow portion of the song but the other attributes will be affected. Example:

lvl 57. McVaxius' Rousing Rondo (brass)

1 : Increase Attack Speed by 21% (L57) to 23% (L65)
2 : Increase STR by 20 (L57) to 22 (L65)
3 : Increase ATK by 13 (L57) to 15 (L65)
4 : Increase Damage Shield by 8

Equipping a horn will not change the attack speed component, but will add more STR, ATK and increase the damage shield.

5. Yes and no. Examples

lvl 8 Kelin's Lugubrious Lament (strings)

1 : Frenzy Radius (5/60)
2 : Reaction Radius (10/60)
3 : Pacify

Equipping a lute will not change the 'pacify' aspect of the song, but it will reduce the frenzy and reaction radius even more. (as a side note, it was originally bugged on p99 where equipping the lute would increase the frenzy and reaction radius instead of decreasing it, thx uthgaard for fixing it during kunark beta).

lvl 28 Crission's Pixie Strike (wind)

1 : Mesmerize (2/55)
2 : Decrease Magic Resist by 6 (L28) to 14 (L65)

Equipping a flute will not change the mesmerize aspect of the song, but it will modify how much MR is debuffed, therefore making it easier to reapply mez on subsequent attempts. It is also supposed to affect the push component of the song, but currently on p99 it doesn't.

cheers
