I'm not telling anyone what they should or should not chose. It's your project your rules. However, my main gripe was changing it years after server launch and not waiting until a reset.
Sounds pretty classic to me.... Sony never reset servers every time they wanted to make a change.

This is one of the most entertaining cycles of this game in my opinion. I made a ranger just to do it. The only thing I would change about it is removing aviaks as a ph. All the false positives drive me nuts!

Didn't one of the original sony devs confirm in some interview that the classic QM mechanic was just a low percentage probability to spawn off any roaming trash mob in the zone? Why not just make it work like that? Let people swarm up all the trash if they want, FTE rules still apply. It wouldn't be any sillier than the current cheesefest

Even if this is known, I’d not be surprised if the mechanic is intentionally non-classic here for CS reasons (ie to prevent zone disruption of massed AoE).

I've often thought about time travel and how one major weakness I have is I wont know the quilmain spawn cycle in the real 1999 If I ever get sent back. But I am also excited about the prospect of racing to learn it fresh. Because maybe you never know time travel might happen.
