Yep. i did. i may try a fresh install. i'm also doing this on linux via lutris and proton so who knows if there's some nuance im missing.

Filenames can be an issue with Linux and Windows, but it's usually the other way around (ie. files named in Linux can cheese off Windows, but Linux never has trouble reading any Windows files).
Still, you
could double-check for files with spaces in their name, or special characters, or anything else that our Windows-based app might balk at. Especially any files you might have introduced (eg. a screenshot or config file that you renamed).
