Default Rogue double backstab

So I was curious on how double backstab works.

I know that I automatically get double backstab at lvl 55. But do certain stats affect how often you execute a double backstab?
I'm curious if there is anyway I can make double backstab happen more frequently or is it just random no matter what?

Thanks guys

Any time you backstab you have a chance to backstab twice. Each attack has a separate roll to see if it hit's or misses. It also has a separate roll for damage.
I've never seen a double 500 BS on anything but a sitting player in a duel. But double 400s can happen with raid buffs and a high ATK stat (wolf form, bard epic, etc)
See http://wiki.project1999.com/Mechanic...e_Calculations for a little more information on Backstabs in general.

This has nothing to do with the question. The answer is that no, there are no stats that affect it.

Double BS rate seems to increase with level but I don't have any hard evidence to back this up.

ATK will increase the hit rate and average dmg but I don't believe any stats have an effect on the rate of double backstabs.

I was always under the impression that it was the same as your double attack roll.

i've never seen any legit data on how double backstab works but rule of thumb it's "about 60% of backstabs" and should operate the same as a regular double atk. the people saying atk makes a difference are /kind of/ right, because it lowers the chance of one of the stabs missing.

Atk affects the distribution of the damage calc. It has zero effect on hit rate.
