![]() I'm concerned that the Hit rate / dmg on knights especially Paladins is off. Using an Epic Lvl 60 Pally 35/40 delay weapon, 210 Strength the paladin misses way to much and when they do connect its very poor dmg. I also know that most of the members of the community especially the ones who have started Paladins or made it to 60 can confirm and back up my findings.
I think you can also relate the fact that this server is very low population of paladins because of the coding for their Hit Ratio and DMG. Now I do not think this would be such an issue if the Paladin line of stuns snares roots etc were actually usable in pvp but they are completely useless. Below I'm am attaching some Logs of a few skirmishes that show some proof of my request. If anyone has anything else to add etc please do. | ||

![]() Edit: Probably need to parse the knights hit rate and total dps compared to the pure melee hit rates/dps with similar strength/haste values over a longer period of time.
I tried looking up hit rate and I couldn't find anything on the pvp hit rate formulas, only pve hit rate formulas. I'm not sure how weapon skill, atk, strength, or dex/agi effects pvp hit rates. https://www.project1999.com/forums/a...p/t-40456.html Perhaps knight hit rate is seemingly low because the formula checks your weapon skill vs the defenders defense and base dex against defenders agility for a hit roll. Both paladin/Sk has low dex and low weapon skills, which both might be working to make knights hit rate lower. Do shaman buffs or attacking casters over tanks (from behind) effect accuracy at all? Need to know: Hit rate and dps on variable ac/mitigation targets for knight and pure melee. DPS/Hit rate on 145 defense targets (Pure Casters) DPS/Hit rate on 200 defense targets (Priests+Ranger) DPS/Hit rate on 252 defense targets (Monk/Rogue/bard/Tanks) Hit rate of specials: Backstabs/kicks/slam/bash/stunkick 1h/vs2h parses for knights. Is 1h Accuracy higher? +Dex/Agility/atk affect pvp accuracy. Parse accuracy then add 100 str/dex/agi and reparse it. Anyways, I see alot of formulas posted for damage bonuses but not much for accuracy. Perhaps this problem fixes itself in velious when knights get better damage tables?

![]() I do think there needs to be more investigation into this, I would be willing to test out some scenarios if anyone is willing or able. But these logs are pretty good proof that this topic needs to be addressed

![]() Rexxin your posting info but your not providing any relevant information for devs to research. Like maybe your stats/class, the person your fighting stats/class etc? Useless damage logs by themselves.

Mainly wanted to start the thread to find out if anyone is experiencing similar results with their pal or sk. | ||
