Game Mechanics: Warrior Critical Hits Not Calculating Correctly

I took screenshots of this yesterday but for some reason do not have a screenshot folder in my EQ directory and can't find where they are being saved to. I will post pictures of this whenever I log in tonight.

Basically the issue is that whenever a warrior critical hits, it displays one value and then registers the damage at a different value.

Example:

Soandso scores a critical hit! (46)
You slash a goblin for 55 points of damage.

I think the problem is that bonus damage isn't being calculated correctly because I'm level 28 and its giving me two different numbers whenever I land criticals or crippling blows. I'm also using Langseax of the Wolves so my damage bonus on it is currently 4 at level 28.
