Bard PBAOE Kelin's Lucin Lullaby
Is this song broken? Says PBAOE up to level 25. I'm level 60 with epic and howler lute, was trying it out in crushbone and was just resisting on all mobs.

I was leveling my bard in Crushbone on Green something like 4-6 months ago. Lullaby wasn't resisted too often. This was at level 15-20 in the throne room.

Not sure what you were doing wrong but it 100% will work on every mob in crushbone, I've leveled multiple bards from 15-20 in the throne room just keeping that on twist and killing them 1 at a time while the rest are mez'd

Got nerfed hard in like maybe late 2011 or so.
Used to just mez entire zones like KC and pluck a mob off one at a time. | ||

It dawned on me your issue may be breaking mez, if you're using DoTs or other aoe's then those are going to break the mez's that your landing by using this, maybe that is the problem.
But if all you do is leave this song on in crushbone is will definitely keep the mobs at bay. | ||

It only works to level 25 I believe so won't work in KC.
I was only casting that one spell and tried it with Epic/Lute of Howler and then just the lute of howler. Got the multiple messages at one time for all the mobs saying resisted I believe. I did trying just the higher solo target Song of twilight on a mob and it did mez it. | ||

I thought I read somewhere that it starts getting resisted based on the bard being a high level. It would be weird if this one song has a unique resist mechanic, but it would match your observation.

Would rather they say make it only work on say up to 8-10 mobs, not 25 or whatever the limit is instead of having a level max if it does.

It's possible they nerfed it in a way to prevent high levels from overtaking newb zones to PL people while disrupting the zone for people that were there to XP organically.
I'm sure in the early days of the green server or lesson learned from Blue launch there was a period of time where this type of behavior was problematic and had potential to cause a lot of player conflict when the server was at the lower end and the zones were more occupied. | ||
