Well when an expansion drops on EQ, people always race to the end. Same concept. Bragging rights, etc.

it's like you make the atomic bomb (server) and you don't want to let other countries (guilds) have nuclear secrets (under the radar information). it's gm's business and no one else's or else everyone gets nuked. letting Iran or North Korea beta test and keep the successful nukes, makes other countries uncomfortable.

I understand. It's not an honest question. I do not and no one else gives a fuck which group of sweaty, low hygiene people wins an expansion. Which leads to my follow up question: Why? Dear god. Why?

They're clearly abusing Magician pets being scaled to live content and not progression content. There's almost 20 underlevelled Mage zerglings in that screenshot alone.
