no, but the reverse is also true. all revolutions, even the slow-moving ones, can get messy. the spanish civil war seems especially relevant to our modern american problems.

but it doesn't change my opinion of the broader movement, or the purpose of the movement. innocents also die if we do nothing. innocents die if we wait and go slow and legal.
