Not really interested in commenting on any of the drama within TMO or empire, but they have demonstrated on many occasions that not only do they not want competition, but they are scared to death of it.

What do you want us to do? Do joint raids with them and get them all the gear and levels they need? Gear them up so everyone has the exact same stats/items ?
