Leftists embrace institutionalized education more than Conservatives do.

Also, the most popular reason people choose Journalism as a career is because they "want to change the world".

Conservatives aren't motivated to change the world.

When most Leftists are attracted to academics, they network together and most of the time there isn't even a huge pool of Conservative leaning staff to grow within the ranks. So Leftists hang out with other Leftists for decades, and they start believing their world view is the correct and natural path in life and so they inject that into their work. Unknowingly in best case scenarios or worse, they actively do it on purpose.

It’s just about what % happened to go to Dem candidates, the amount doesn’t matter

The percent happened to be 90% to Dems, which gives an idea of what % staff of media publications register as voters and how that might influence their bias

You could reason that only mostly Democrats tend to want to go into the journalism field to begin with, or I can reason that their education itself has a bias that shapes young adult minds towards a particular ideology

The truth is probably a combination of the two
