It’s a red herring or strawman. It’s not black rocks fault. It’s the thousands and thousands of 2+ person investment groups that are doing the same thing, that the studies leave out of their math.

I agree that it's a red herring strawman, yes.

Elon musk also is not the 1 source of all of the problems in the universe either.

blackrock is just a part of it all. alot of private interests are turning to real estate for reliable investments

even retirees are holding onto their homes and buying a vacation property because why not there is no financial incentive to downsize anymore

the structural flaw is capitalism, and deregulation ain't gonna help. orange man has a long history with real estate interests. the fact that he's one of the few people to bankrupt a casino is (probably) not a blunder, it's (probably) how he launders money for the mega-rich that he works for.

but high housing prices does serve the goals of those who are waging the class war on us, as it helps maintain a sizable population in poverty on the brink of homelessness. if the threat of homelessness and the violence that comes with it wasn't there, the american system of capitalism would not have as much leverage as it does.

add in the leverage employers have with healthcare plans and you can see what i mean about class war.

unless you're trained not to see it, of course.

Many local regulations are tantamount to bribes to the planners office!

In WA they also make you pay for gopher impact studies and mitigation.

Home rule is a pox on these lands.
