in theory it will get good enough at the assumptions to be indistinguishable from reality, which shouldn't even be that hard considering how shit the human eyes / brain is, your brain literally hallucinates shit all the time, and i don't mean crazy people, just every time for a split second you think you see something that isn't there
"According to neuroscientist Anil Seth, the human brain is constantly hallucinating, and what we call reality is when we agree on those hallucinations. "

Sidebar: the human eye is kinda shit at resolving even if you have perfect (human) vision. Ultra-HD-4k whatever TVs basically can't get any better than they already are, other than just getting cheaper. Increased resolution becomes arbitrary once they run up against the limitations of the human eye. I wanna be able to see what hawks see.

But it was how it transformed.. it was litreally how the old google AI (pre chat GPT breakthrough) ai image generation looked. My brain was just looking at a shape, and trying to turn it into a recognizable shape before my vary eyes. It was almost like watching the simulation appear before you. But it was just my brain trying to identify out of the noise we see, what Im seeing, and it's just so insane to think about how we're basically the same thing as what we're building with computers just different components.

and then there's this [You must be logged in to view images.
