got the top bar invisible now but the uh whatever the fuck the this button is called is still there if i click the top corner, and dash to dock 1 hundo % transparent also

also, apparently linux Nvidia drivers are still fucked, 25 years later. glad it wasn't just me being stupid trying to get CUDA to work with my local LLM correctly

Not gatekeeping is not dumbing it down.

Real Linux users share their generic knowledge. They gained it relatively freely. Not like a payed MS course.

Hiding knowledge curtails advancement. All OS projects allow free use of their softwares. If you change it, post it back. If you use it. Good on you.

Arch gatekeepers are douchbags. If they used Windows they'd prolly still be the same. Douches.
That's OK, nobody is forcing you to use any flavour.

I loved fedora and CentOS. They use older more stable kernels and modules. So I changed.

I been using Linux for EQ since 2001. Bit of muck arseing around then but I did have a gun linux user as an IRL friend. So not reperesentative here.
However now, it should be trivial, it is gold (at last look) on WineHQ may be plat by now.

i'll end up switching to something eventually cause this Snap package thing is horrible but until then i'm fine beta testing for Canonical

will wait till i get another PC cause this one is a Prebuilt ASUS with that locked down BIOS shit, Ubuntu spray and pray approach to installing every driver possible works when the more streamlined distros didn't. i'm sure now with LLM i could manage to install one but no need or desire atm
